Abyss
The abyss is a PvPvE area that consist of 3 layers all with Siege Fortresses. there is Lower, Middle, and Top abyss layers. The difficulty is basicaly, lower 25-40, Top 40~, and mid 50~. Here you can fly everywere but flight is still limited. At a certan point of the day a siege will start allowing Asmodians and Elyos to battle the fierce Balaur and eachother and conquer the fortresses!

Essence tapping
This is one of my favorite things to do in Aion when not doing instances questing or PvPing. It is both good for your char to have if you will do alot of crafting, but it can also be used to farm large amounts of a particular (perhaps valuable) material that you can sell at the broker or in a stall to other users.

Templar
The number one tank of the game. If u like to be the one tanking the mobs and leading the instances this is a char for you. Good for both new and advanced players. A Templar uses Plate armor but can also have chain for a PvP build char, this however is not favorable till higher lvls. As a Templar you should invest in both a sword/shiled and in a greatsword. Thus you can choose to be able to take emense amounts of dmg or to increase your damage. Greatsword is good for PvP. As a Templar you will have the most hp and defence in the game and therfor you will not be a priority target in PvP unless you are alone or outnumbered.

Gladiator
This is the only character that I have played so far. It is a very fun character to play and offers both a nice hp pool as well as good damage (dps). Perhaps not the easiest character if you are new though xD
The gladiators best friend is plate armor combined with a polearm. Gladiators should try and get a high critical rate by enhancing armors and weapoons with manastones that give crit. They might also like to put magic resist or hp manastones in their items.

Welcome to Aion!
Aion is a free to play mmorpg that you can easily download and create a new accout for (aionfreetoplay.com/website). In the start of the game you get to choose between two sides. It is either the ferral Asmodians or the godblessed Elyos. Once you choose your side thats were youll be playing! Both races have 4 classes to play, these are the same for both, and each class has two specializations that you choose at lvl 10. These classes are warrior(templar/gladiator), rouge (assassin/scout), mage (sorcerer/spiritmaster), priest (cleric/chanter). You can choose to be a male/female character independant of your other choices. The character apperance can then be chosen with great variety. Se the link to find out about each class. The big goal and story of the game is the battle between the Asmodians and the Elyos, but also their powerfull enemy called the Balaurs. the mass pvp system.
