How to walk a rhino
...into a container
the vets were jumping in and out of the container to put on medication against ectoparasites and prevent the animal from pushing the head to hard to the corner (a dangerous habit among immobelized rhinos)
The containers were loaded on a truck and brought back to the bomas were the rhinos were released to aclimatize before the auction in September.

Spotting a new animal for capture
Monitoring respiration is more important than heart rate!
The vet is aiming at the next to be shot
Mind the big horne!
step 1) approach from behind and touch the rhino on the back to see if it is safe to go any futher
step 2) Try to cover the eyes without getting injured
step 3) Hold the animal still and put a rope around the head
and walk it to the destination you want
If the drug hit too hard, the animal will lay down...and two tons is nothin you just carry off under your arm.
