Hey man, my name is Dylan. I have to say you are the fucking man at heads up dude! You have really figured out durrr its insane. Like, i cant believe how well you have him read. You must have really done your homework this time around. I love poker but i cant seem to win online at all. Like i feel like i know the game really well and i start out good and start winning but then i end up playing stakes way over my Bankroll or something that is 2 risky.People dont lie when they say you will go broke everytime if you choose to use bad bankroll management. I think im just to impatient. I would rather have it all now insead of climbing up the ladder slowly. I am tired of waiting for a decent bankroll. I know if i just had like 50k i could play 2/5 NL live and pay rent to support me and my g/f.
Its crazy cuz i heard you are only 19. I think thats so sick! All my friends suck so much dick at poker its not even funny.I have always wanted to live by and be friends with some1 my age that actually knows how to play poker. I wish i was in your position basically. I am 18 by the way and i live in Panama city Beach, FL if you know where that is. My g/f is 17 and as soon as she turns 18 we plan to move in together. Its 2 bad right now im so broke. Im like the biggest idiot basically. About 2 months ago i used my last $300 in my account and ended up doing really good in tournaments playing awesome and shit and turned it into almost $2.5k. I felt so good. Life couldnt have been better for me! But then in a matter of weeks i managed to lose everything!
I cashed out $2.2 k and was psyched to have that in my account. I was going to fix my car which is like a $700 repair. But i had to be such a dumbass. I had about $500 in my account that week and worked it up to about $800. Then i remember i decided to play $1/2NL heads up. I was normally only play .25/.50 NL HU or .50/1. I ended up running SUPER bad against a very decent player and losst everything. I was on so much tilt i tried to quit playing, but i couldnt. I wanted it all back. (thats how stupid i am) I ended up depositing $500 into my account. I decided to play $1/2 NL SH at 2 tbls at the same time. OMG biggest mistake ever!!!
1 tbl specifically i ended up getting up to about $300 and i had AA. I 3 bet to make is $22 and a guy with a bigger stack then me pushed with KK and flopped the K. Everything was goign wrong. I ended up losing the other tbl 2 after being drunk in my own tilt.
Basically now i just live at home and feel like i will never be able to move out. I have no money to fix my car. I have been trying to get a job but have had no success. Right now my city is dead since its winter and its impossible to get a job. All i do is wait for friends to come over so they will smoke weed with me and play ps2. And play beer pong whenever i get the chance. Im so tired of my mom bitching at me and getting on my nerves.
I just want to know have you ever been in my position where you feel like just giving up? I love poker so much but i feel like i will never become good enough online. Also i want you 2 know how lucky you are to be in your position right now. You could just stop play poker now and be set for a VERY long time. You haveve 5 million dollars!!!!!! I wish i just had 2thousand dollars. If i could just have 1 BB i would be happy.
So if your ever pissed off just think about how much better you have it than me.
Anyways i just want u 2 know i wish you well and i hope you take Durrr for all hes worth. I think its so awesome ur only 19 also. Also man if you ever want to come to FL during spring break i will defiantly show you around. Its such a bad ass place to party. You have the money so you can do whatever you want. I have always wondered what that would be like to be able to just leave and go somewhere because you fucking can.
Alright anyways dude i hope you get this letter and i hope you keep beating that ass. I hope to maybe be as accomplished as you 1 day.
